The course catalogue

Every course sheet, read off the original: event, date, judge, starting side and the full station order. Search by sign number to find real courses that used a given exercise, or by judge to see how one judge builds. Each entry links straight to its sheet in Drive.

The courses

Click any station number to find every other course that used the same sign.

Sign usage across the catalogue

How often each sign actually appears, counted from every station list that was legible on the sheet. Useful both ways: what to train hardest, and what has never once been set. Click a row to pull up the courses that used it.

Reading the counts

  • The number after each sign is how many times it has been set in total, counting a sign twice if one course used it twice.
  • Signs shown faded were never set. Hover any sign for the number of separate courses it appears in.
  • Darker backgrounds mean more frequent. Click a sign to pull up the courses that used it.
  • Sheets whose station table was missing or illegible contribute nothing here. The counts always cover the whole catalogue, whatever the filters above are set to.

By judge

Course counts, the left/right split of their starts, and the signs each judge reaches for most often. Pick two or more judges to compare them and see what they set in common.

What is and isn't certain

Read straight off the sheet

  • Event name, date, judge and starting side, wherever the sheet printed them.
  • Station orders come from the printed station table. Where a sheet had no table, stations were read from the map and the entry says so.

Inferred, not printed

  • Country is only given where the event name states it (Estonia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Austria) or the venue does (Vöhringen, Jyväskylä, Halmstad, Rønde, Vilhelmsborg, Larvik, Drøbak, Egersund, Drammen).
  • Entries whose sheet was photographed at an angle, cut off, or printed without a station table carry a note saying which part is uncertain.

Sign numbering follows the FCI Overview of the Signs (effective 1 January 2024); course-building rules are in §3.5 of the Regulations and Rules for International FCI Rally Obedience Trials.
